While several of us were out having lunch today, we came upon a true princess. The poor thing was having a birthday party for one and not succeeding very well at all. Since our good friend TEAM Pez's birthday was also this day and he, too, was to join us for lunch, she invited us to join our parties together and we could have a double celebration.
Alas, our cad of a friend, TEAM Pez, never showed and broken hearted the princess left our midst. Before she disappeared into her coach, she pressed a scrap of paper into my hands and made us promise to deliver unto the wayward member of our lunch bunch her phone # in hopes that he would call her to wish her a happy birthday on thier shared day. We swore that we would do so as she galloped away, leaning out the window and calling her thanks to us for helping to brighten her day.
