Geocache Description:

This is the first of hopefully several caches I plan to place along roads leading into the city limits of Darlington. Hopefully this will give some of you cachers who have not been to Darlington a chance to visit. I had thought about doing this as a multi but then thought just singles would give a reason to come back and visit.

The first Welcome to Darlington Cache will bring you to the northern end of the town along 52. If driving from the south, the bypass or business will get you to the same place but you will see more of town if you take the business route. Parking will also be easier from the business route side.

Short walk in the woods behind the sign will take you to the cache. Cache is an ammo can. As usual watch out for snakes and other critters that like swampy areas. Swamp is not too far away so area could be wet after a heavy rain.

Original contents include:
Log & pen
FTF Prize (if you want it)
Memorex CD label maker kit
Hidden Valley Hawk TB
American pride decals
Cross keychain
Care Bear pencils
Men's thermal socks
