Traditional cache on a public bush track with stones and tree roots, 5 minutes walk from a public road. In dry conditions, street shoes might be fine, but boots would be better.
This is a traditional cache to tempt all you keen cache hunters to try out some of the many bush tracks in Ohinetahi Reserve. You can drive to within 5 minutes walk of the cache, stop at the carpark and go down Bivvy Track into the bush. Watch out for a few bush nettles (Ongaonga) along the path.
The cache is in the bush 6 metres south of a small grassy clearing. You can stand on the track in the bush to reach the cache (now a 500ml plastic screwtop).
