Part of Okotoks history. #11 on the Okotoks Heritage Walking Tour. Altitude 3496'. Stealth may be required. The cache is now back in it's original location. The co-ords were a little off "track". Updated July 11,05 and again December 16-07. Floods of June 2005 forced the town to move the exhibit.
Cache is a micro - in a magnetic key holder. Contents: Okotoks pins, and log sheet. Too small for writing instrument, bring your own. First to Find gets the coveted sticker and Canadian flag emblem.
Be sure to take a few minutes to read through the interesting interpretive site. Unknown to most, logging played an important role in the history of Okotoks 1891 - 1917.
