Geocache Description:

Ten minute drive from Junction 35 of the M4. Up some country lanes.

This Cache is at height overlooking Pencoed and on a good day you can even see the Millenium stadium too. Whilst driving up the lanes, you will come to some riding stables, keep going up the hill and you will see the car park over on the right. The co-ords for the car park are:
N 51 33.448
W 003 30.443.
This is the carpark for the beggining of the Ogwr ridgeway walk. The cache is about half a mile from the car park. The walk is fairly easy, the rocky track is fine underfoot but just be cautious on some of the large rocks and don't slip. On a good day the views from up here are excellent. You can see all around the vale and you get a great up close view of the windmills up on the hill.
The cache itself if an ammo box and it is just inside the forest. So if tree cover is messing with your GPS then walk along the outside of the fence and you will be able to see where the cache is. PLEASE DO NOT JUMP OVER THE FENCE! It is only a short double back to the cache. The cache is a remand centre for naughty travel bugs and the number of travel bugs should never drop below THREE!! So if you wish to take a travel bug, make sure you have one to drop off. We need to keep the number above three or they can start to plot an escape. As one of the travel bugs is undercover and will inform of any escape plans.
However i have catered for those who just wish to take/drop off a something.
The original contents are as follows:
Travel Bugs:
Elly the elf
The county Sheep
Ianto

Goodies:
20 Sri Lankan rupees
2 rocket balloons
An Official Flora London Marathon 2004 foil blanket
(in case the finder is freezing)
A flashing red rear bike light
(in case it's dark and you need a signal)
