Geocache Description:

A quick little find near a new section of a bike trail.

Time to take a break from all the books. The cache is intended to introduce you to a new section of the Cottonwood Creek bike path. This section of the path can provide an alternative to the dreaded Woodmen/I-25 interchange in getting to and from the Monument Creek Trail. The cache is log-only (bring a pencil/pen) and only a hundred or so yards from the nearest parking, but may be difficult to find if there is snow on the ground. Oh, and watch out for the thorns!

Update 3/24/07: Log is now in a plastic baggie, BUT, more importantly, when replacing the container, put the small (bottom) end in first, or else the next cacher will find it almost impossible to remove.

Update 8/13/11: Container is a pill bottle - to open, push down and turn. And definitely watch out for the thorns.
