Michael: Groundspeak received the following email.
MoDOT will be rebuilding this rest area with a contract to be let at the end of October for the following geocache site. Access to the site during construction will be limited. The site may be removed by the contractor. Please contact the person who takes care of this site and have it relocated. We expect construction to take a year and possibly begin this winter. The geocache is welcome to be placed back at the new welcome center after construction.
Please remove the cache as quickly as possible so as to not lose any Travel Bugs.
