This cache has been put out to celebrate Nutter 3 and Nutter 4’s 21st Birthday on 19th March 2005. Nutters 3 & 4 were born in Bunny and lived there until they were 5 years old. Nutter 3 used to have a Bunny-rabbit called Lucky (who wasn’t so lucky because he only had 3 legs).
The cache is in the middle of Bunny Moor close to the Great Central Railway (Northern part). Train trips operate on some weekends from the Heritage Centre next to Rushcliffe Country Park. Please approach the cache on public footpaths only; there are other tracks across the moor that are private. There is a public footpath (well-signposted) along the west side of the railway. The easiest place is to park at Rushcliffe Country Park (entrance off the A60). If approaching from here, it is important to find the correct track at the corner of the country park. From the perimeter road (near the kennels) at waypoint N52 53.053 W01 09.697, take the track past the farm buildings and turn right over the railway bridge; from there, just follow the arrow!. The cache goodies include items with a birthday theme; there were two birthday cards to sign (but these were removed for safe keeping on 20th Sept 2005)! Travel Bug ‘Lucky 21’ also started its travels on 19th March 2005.
