Located 75 yds. off of S-22 with a good view of Indianhead Mountain, just outside of Borrego Springs.
"The north wall of Borrego Palm Canyon culminates in a spectacular, jagged promontory known as Indianhead. This is a conspicuous landmark seen and admired from most locations in Borrego Valley." I placed this cache to celebrate my first climb of this landmark 2 weeks ago. It took almost 8 hours and was a very tough hike. You should have no such problem with this cache. Best parking is at the turn-out N 33 14.311 W116 24.253. Be careful crossing the highway and follow the path for about 75 yds. This is snake country! Watch where you put your feet and hands. Enjoy the view.
