Daniels Park, between Castle Rock and Denver.
For our fiftieth cache placement, we decided to hold an event. (OK, so we don't have fifty right now. But we do hope to have fifty by the date of the event)
This park has a picnic shelter, with a few tables, but you'll probably want to bring your own chair.
The event will begin around 3:30pm, and will end sometime after dinner, which should be around 5:00. This will be a covered dish dinner, so fix up your favorite recipe to share with everyone. Please post a note to let us know you're coming. Make sure to mention what type of food you're planning on bringing. (main dish, salad, dessert, etc.)
We'd also like to ask anyone who can to bring some firewood. There is a large fireplace in the picnic shelter, and we'd like to keep a cozy fire burning.
This will be just an informal meet & greet, but we will have a puzzle cache available to find, and we will be playing "cache poker"*.

*cache poker: Find a series of five caches, take one sealed card from each cache. The cacher that holds the best poker hand when the envelopes are opened is the winner.
