Das 7. Cache, der Magic Aarecache Serie. Diesesmal führt es Dich
zum 1. der 2 Caches im Gebiet der Alten Aare.
Die Alte Aare ist ein Überbleibsel aus der ersten
Juragewässerkorrektion bei welcher die Aare neu durch den
Hagneck-Kanal in den Bielersee abgeleitet wurde. Sie beginnt im
Stau von Aarberg, nur wenig oberhalb des Wasserkraftwerks und
mündet gegenüber dem Häftli oberhalb von Büren in den
Nidau-Bürenkanal, wo Euch dieses Cache nun hinführt.
Das Cache befindet sich am unmittelbaren Ufer der alten Aare,
direkt an einem Feldweg mit Blick auf das Naturschutzgebiet der
alten Aare.

The 7th cache of the Magic Aarecache series. This time you will
be leaded to the first of the 3 caches in the area of the old Aare
river.
The old Aare is a leftover from the first Jura-waters
correction, in which the Aare was now derived by the Hagneck
channel into the lake of Biel/Bienne "Bielersee". It begins with
the weir of Aarberg, above the hydro-electric power plant and flows
opposite the Haeftli above Bueren into the Nidau Buerenkanal, where
this cache is leading you now.
The cache is close to the foot of the old Aare river, directly
at a dirt road with view of the protected area of the old Aare.
