This cache is a large white bucket with a green snap lid. It is a family friendly easy to locate cache. We would recommend watching for reptiles in the area where you walk and place your hands. It is located in a rocky terrain with a level hike from several good pull-offs. Even small children can make this walk. This area has exceptional scenery and is quite inspirational. Drive just a short way to the west and you can enjoy great sunset viewing.
The original contents were a glass cat figurine, foam Easter craft kit, 3 bottles of water, a watch, Tupperware smidget and 2 sets of salt and pepper shakers. There are several CD's and a variety of small toy items, a few token type coins, Tupperware funnel, unused earplugs, a whistle, speaking Spanish cards, Kale seeds and a flying disk. If you take one of these fine treasures we ask that you please leave one. There is a log book and camera. A photo is optional but, please be sure to log in and keep our deserts clean and beautiful. : ) Remember not to touch or climb in the area near the petroglyphs and do not enter the wash when there is possible flooding.
