Geocache Description:

The co-ordinates are for the Cold Man’s Slade car park, the nearest free car park to Shugborough. This cache takes you to two of the out-of-the-way and very functional features in Shugborough Park, where you pick up the decimal sections of the co-ordinates for the final cache. The whole walk takes about an hour.

The best way between the two features is a woodland path which runs quite close to the road. There is no need to cross the railway at all.
The final cache has moved nearer to the permitted tracks in the phytophthora areas, and here is a hint. The Lost Property Box is quite big (well, a lost property box has to be big, doesn’t it) so it needed a capacious hiding place. Plus if you’ve done any of our other caches you have an advantage!

Feature 1 N52 47.275 W002 00.329
Look for some lost property, and you’ll have to count to complete N52 47.###

Feature 2 N52 47.460 W002 00.943
Some more lost property, black and attached with strong elastic. This completes W 002 01.***

Final cache
The Lost Property Box is a white plastic pot (!) in a black plastic bag for disguise. Good luck!
