Geocache Description:

It's Springtime and that means it's time to campout!

This will be a 2-night event starting on the April 22nd and wraping up on april 24th.

Come one, come all to the Spring Fling Camping Thing at the best little campground in the land! As some folks will tell you this place is a great place for a camping adventure and the caching is great too! There will plenty of geo-games , activities, alot of great campout food (potluck) to go along with all the fun and and of course caching stories around the ole' campfire!

Both tents and RV's are welcome but no hook-ups are available but everyone is welcome to join in even if you don't want to camp! There will be a port-a-potty on site thanks to the campground hosts. Be sure to bring your coolers, eats and drinks for the potluck picnic on Saturday afternoon and just maybe we can talk Campdoc into bringing his great grill to cook everything up on!

Camping Schedule:
Friday Night:

There is a race track right down the road. We have decided to go to the race. Afterwards, sit by the fire and tell spooky geocaching stories. Well, they don't have to be spooky, they can be the favorite caching story. Check back for the race starting time if you are interested.

Saturday:

Breakfast, if you would like to bring some bacon, sausage, or eggs, I am sure we can get MDC or maybe Fluffy to cook for us if she arrives in time.

Afterwards, there will be some new caches in the area to hunt. And a pocket cache timed event with prizes. You must start your time before 4pm to be eligible for prizes. 1-2 pm we will start the pot luck lunch. If you have a preference of meat, you may want to bring it and bring a side dish to share.

If time permits, there will be a scavenger hunt. Afterwards... There will be caching and a bonfire at dusk. Bring marshmellows and smore makings if you have the sweet tooth.

Sunday:

Breakfast, and then break camp. Help clean up and straighten up the camp so that Campdoc will let us come back again.

Be sure to keep checking back for updates as time gets closer to the event!

Thanks Mr. and Mrs. Campdoc for offering the use of their great campground for another great event!

Long pants are suggested for the planned game. Leaves of three are in bloom. Tick and bug spray might be a good idea.

If you plan on attending, please post and let everyone know what you will be bringing for the potluck picnic so we won't end up with all of one thing.
