Where Ya Goin'? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Mushtang: The rest area has been closed for a while. Unfortunately someone took the cache before I got there to get it myself, so shame on them.

If any caches hidden in the past few months show up, hidden in a large fake rock, I'd appreciate a heads up. I'm sure I'll recognize it when I see it. Heh.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Rest Area cache for traveling cachers.

This cache is dedicated to those geocachers driving south on Hwy 85 into the Metro Atlanta area.

When you log your find online, please let me know where your final destination is (Atlanta? Maybe Disney World? Perhaps only as far as Macon?) as well as where you started out (driving from Greenville? Maybe as far away as Canada?).

For the locals, let me know your next destination (Home? Another cache? Grocery store?).

Please note, it's not necessary to cross the fence to get to this cache! You can follow the sidewalk part of the way, but you'll be looking in a wooded area. It's also suggested that this one be found during daylight, as this is hidden in a Rest Area.

After I'd been on several road trips I realized that geocaches near the interstate are really good for travelers, so I decided to hide a couple of them myself.

Special thanks to KBI for contributing the original trade items, the log book, and for helping average the coordinates.
