Säulengrotte – der etwas andere Rastplatz.
Saeulengrotte – a something different resting place.
Die Säulengrotte ist ein alter Sandsteinbruch, der oberhalb des
Schwimmbades von Schöftland liegt. Die Grotte kann nur zu Fuss ab
dem Parkplatz beim Schwimmbad erreicht werden. Fest installierte
Festbänke sowie eine Feuerstelle sind vorhanden.
Parke beim Schwimmbad: N47°17.813' E8°02.954'.
Gehe zu den Start-Koordinaten (Säulengrotte): N47°17.753'
E8°03.058'. Wer müde ist, hat hier die Möglichkeit zu rasten, zu
picknicken oder die Inschriften zu bewundern. Übrigens auch bei
Regen sitzt man hier im Trockenen.
Der vielen Geomuggles wegen liegt der Cache nicht bei der
Säulengrotte selbst. Suche das Verbotsschild bei der Säulengrotte.
Darauf findest Du ein Datum "ab. MMMM cdef". Du erhältst die
Endkoordinaten des Caches, wenn Du die Koordinaten wie folgt
ergänzst: N47°a7.791' E8°0f.c70'.
Die Strecke vom Parkplatz bis zum Cache verläuft bis auf den
letzten Teil über Wanderwege oder Waldstrassen. Die letzten 130m
führen quer durch den Wald. Vom Parkplatz bis zum Cache braucht man
ungefähr 30 Minuten. Die Strecke ist nicht
kinderwagentauglich.
ACHTUNG: das ist KEIN nachttauglicher Cache. Wenn man sich der
Säulengrotte oder dem Cache aus der falschen Richtung nähert,
besteht Absturzgefahr!
HINWEIS: Das Versteck wurde eigens für diesen Cache erstellt, also
KEINE Zweckentfremdung!
Start-Inhalt: Zahlenschloss, Geduldsspiel, 2 Post it
Zettelblöckchen, Mini-Taschenlampe (ohne Batterie), kleiner
Karabiner mit Schlüsselring, Delphin Handtuchhalter.

The Saeulengrotte is an old sandstone quarry, which lies above the
swimming bath of Schoeftland. The grotto can be reached only on
foot starting from the car park by the swimming bath. Firmly
installed benches as well as a fire place are present.
Park your car by the swimming bath: N47°17.813' E8°02.954'.
Go to the starting coordinates (Saeulengrotte): N47°17.753'
E8°03.058'. Who is tired has the possibility to rest here, to have
a picnic or to admire the inscriptions. By the way also by rain you
stays dry here.
Because of the many geomuggles the cache is not placed in the
Saeulengrotte themselves. Look for the prohibition sign by the
Saeulengrotte. On this sign you find a date "ab. MMMM cdef". You
get the final coordinates for the cache, if you complete the
coordinates as follows: N47°a7.791' E8°0f.c70'.
The route from the car park to the cache runs over hiking trails or
forest routes. The last 130m leads across to the forest. From the
car park to the cache you need approximately 30 minutes. The route
is not buggy suited.
NOTE 1: that is NOT a nightcache. If you approach the Saeulengrotte
or the cache from the wrong direction, you may heavily fall
down!
NOTE 2: the hiding place was built particularly for this cache,
therfore NO misuse!
The contents of the cache are: Combination luggage locks, puzzle, 2
post it notes, mini pocket lamp (without batteries), small
spring-hook with key-ring, dolphin towelrack.
