We placed this cache during a Sunday drive around the lake on one of the many great "False Spring" days we've had lately.
Located on one of the many trailheads of the Ouachita Trail, there is a good place to park and finding the cache will require a short walk along the trail head. Depending on the time of day, getting a good reading may be tricky due to the geography of the area. As in all things, persistence pays off.
Unfortunately, I didn't write down the contents of the cache so I can't tell you what's in there other than a log and a pen and "goodies" so take your chances and take your "lumps." (We don't do it for the gumpf anyway do we?)
Enjoy the drive and enjoy the cache, and please do us a favor and check the Bulletin Board for any notices concerning Controlled Burns in the area. If you find one posted, email us and we'll go pull the cache before the fire destroys it.
