Small Round Cache located near some old tram roads in Keyser, WV
Round click and seal container located just off the old tram roads that are still in use by CSX and locals. The cache is located approx. 500 feet away from the tracks, and is located on public property next to an old road that is used by local atv'ers, farmers, and walkers. This old passage is covered with coal dust, so you may want to wear old shoes. The cache contains a log book and a few items of interest for trades. Wear pants in the summer, there could be snakes! Brush is high in some places near the cache. If you are a railroad buff, bring a camera. CSX Transportation runs trains near here day and night. There is also an old train depot and an old porcelain plant near by. Keyser was given its name from a past president of the B & O. Find the cache and enjoy a part of Keyser history by snapping some closeups of the trains and other long past industrial sites.
