Geocache Description:

This Cache is located in Southwestern York County, in North Codorus Township. This area is known as the P. Joseph Raab County Park. The park is 73 acres in size and was mined for Iron Ore around 1854. Today due to some remaining mine openings a sizeable bat population exists in this area.

Parking is available along a rural dirt road with very little traffic. Please do not park in front of the yellow gate of the park entrance.

It should be noted that the park is undeveloped and closed to the public except for a few scheduled programs offered by the park each year. You will not have to enter the county park for this cache.

For additional information regarding the history of the mines read the historical marker at the yellow gate/entrance.

The cache is a medium size peanut butter container. Cache contains a log book/pencil.

No hints at this time, lets see if we have any trouble finding it.
