Uncle Beaufort Mystery Cache

Team CoyChev: Our thanks to everyone who had fun solving 'Uncle Beaufort' and finding the cache. Unfortunately there's lots of construction going on at the site and the construction crews have killed the roots of the pine tree used as the hiding spot; the pine is now almost dead. The cache has been removed, but look for the ghost of Uncle Beaufort to reappear some day, in a far-away location. ;)

I was really confused after finding a letter in my mailbox. It explained that my Uncle Beaufort had recently passed away. The letter that accompanied the note, shown below, said he had left something for me. I knew Uncle Beaufort really wasn't going to playfair. He always made things difficult for me. I thought the note would be in plaintext, but this gibberish confused me. I sat at the dining room table and studied the note as I sipped a glass of my favorite red vigenere wine. I didn't even touch my chicken Caesar salad; I was too concerned about this note. Where in the world could it be leading me and what could it mean?
