Geocache Description:

A lovely secluded spot, in a reinvigorated area.

A lot has changed since this was published in 2005. Some items have gone, some have been replaced.

This is a very well hidden area, with a purpose built fishing platform for disabled people.

Please enjoy a stroll around the area, and be careful crossing waterways, as the rocks can be slippery. Unfortunately there are no dogs or bikes allowed.

Go to WP1 , and have a look at the information board. You need to take the number of times the "No Dogs" emblem appears as A, the number of native plant species is over 2B0, the number of marked parking spots as C, and the number of rivets holding the sign on as D. The reserve was declared in 19FG

WP2 is 42 59.GFA 147 17.BCA

At wp2, convert the first part of the name of The Rare Jewel to figures, and use these digits as HJ

Final cache GZ is 42 59 DJH 147 17 BDB

Carefully cross the creek and continue following the track around the top of the wall on the outside of the pond and you will end up joining the main Coffee Creek fire trail.

There is a small track that leads in the general direction of GZ, it is easy to miss. This will bring you to a clearing at the edge of the pond not too far from the hide.

I would recommend using the same path to get back to the main track, as of today (8th Sept 2024) continuing on the track past the cache leads to a vertical drop into water.

The cache contained at time of placing a logbook and pencil Checksums: S=42 E=38
