Sharkstooth Ridge

This cache got it's name from the fact that years ago, prehistoric sharksteeth were found when excavating for the interstate highway which passes close by. We are told that at one time this area was covered with water. There is a nice view from the cache and I hope you enjoy your visit. In the summer months, keep alert because snakes are possible in this rocky area. You can find this without the clue but if by chance you get stuck, look at the clue.
I hope this is a fun hide for you and it gets you off the beaten path. A high profile vehicle is not absolutely necessary but probably is advised as you have to travel for some distance on a dirt road. During the winter, this could be difficult to get to due to drifting snow but should be accessible most of the year. A walk to this location is not impossible but is over a mile from the paved highway. Have fun!
