Public land, level ground, parking 50 yards away
My mom seems quite interested in geocaching, so with her permission, I placed this cache at the edge of her yard, next to public land. She can watch "cachers" looking for this site from her house. She really doesn't mind you coming in her yard. She actually was quit insistant that I place the cache where I did. Park at N 41.56.399/ W 088.44.273 (near N 13th st and Elmwood st in DeKalb). Short walk from there. You will be looking for a small black canister. Say hi to mom if she comes outside! This is a very small "cache", so please just log your visit. Let's start something new here! If you have any old, un-used keys, bring them to this cache. You'll see where to leave them. Let's see how many we can get. I'll post numbers periodically!
I understand some geocachers are a little leary about searching on private property. You will only be about 2 feet into Mom's yard. She gets so very excited to see geocachers out there, especially if you bring the kids!!!
Mom likes her geochache visits so much, she now has "Mom's Place" on her license plate frame.
