Kenmore Hill - A Pinewood For The Future.
There is a small Car Park at N 56 34.661 W 003 58.651.
Follow Red Route. The path has had only minor work done to it, so stout footwear is advised. Dogs are welcome, but should be kept on a lead.
The area is amongst remnants of the Ancient Caledonian Forest. Re-planting is in progress, the majority of it being Scots Pine, though there will also be Birch, Rowan, Oak, Aspen, Alder, Willows, Cherry, Hazel, Holly and Juniper.
While on the walk you could see, Golden Eagle, Buzzard, Capercaillie, Red Grouse, Pine Martin and Red Squirrels.
From the cache site, there are fine views of Schiehallion, Ben Lawers The Carn Mairg Group above Glen Lyon and many more.
