Hikin' Barefoot Traditional Cache
bucknaked: Sorry folks but I had to close the cache as I am moving off Cape soon. On a good note, this fantastic site is now open for another cache by another cacher. Also, I plan on relocating this nudie-cache and its contents and travel bugs to a new nudie-location off cape.

An "au naturale in nature" themed cache. Located in a section of the Mashpee River Woodlands.

Inside the ammo can along with the log book are plenty of goodies for grown-ups and kids.
A nice hike along the marshy river brings you to the cache. The trail is a bit overgrown, has unmarked side trails and has some fallen trees (hence the 3.5 rating). Despite the thorns and bushes and ticks I would still consider this a "kid freindly" cache mainly because everytime I go I have a kid or two with me. There are two parking spaces to choose from. One is near the Mashpee rotary and is located at 41"37.244' 070"28.703'off Quinaquissett Ave, and the other to the south. The cache is closer from the South so take your pick. THIS SITE IS THE HOME OF THE NUDEBUG TRAVEL BUG.

Went out to check the cache and add some goodies. Read the log entries and there were some comments that the hike was long and the hide was easy. The hike is supposed to be long - I hate those drive-thru caches. I moved the hide to it's original spot (it moved a few feet) and added some FALSE HIDES to make it more interesting. If you stumble onto them, please reset them for the next cachers. ENJOY!
