The parking area is at the end of Old Mill Road near the Wildlife Area Headquarters. A graveled road that you can bicycle, ride horses or walk. Dogs are allowed on Cadre Loop, which will take you by the cache site, and they must be on a leash.
This is a wonderful area to sit and watch birds and picnic.
An easy walk on a gravel road. About 1-1/4 miles out to the cache. Come back the same way for a total of 2-1/2 miles, or take the loop trail and it is a little over 4 miles.
Please use the critter trail to access the cache and be very careful NOT to trample the surrounding vegetation. There is absolutely no need to bushwack or break down vegetation.
Make sure you place the container with the "lid" facing down so the contents stay dry. Also make sure "lid" is closed very tight, as a critter was trying to sign the log book!
Smaller trade items are probably better.
