Geocache Description:

A Travel Bug Lodge with a view of the Sapphire Mountains and the east side of the Bitterroot Valley, where a traveler may rest while waiting for a ride.

This cache is a Travel Bug Lodge. Try to help the traveler reach his goals. We have been finding the Lodge empty of travelers recently, and request that if you don't have a travel bug to exchange, then to just "discover the travel bugs and leave them there. It is the "regular" size ammo can and most bugs should have no trouble fitting in it.

Taking a travel bug from any cache means accepting additional responsibilities. Please make sure you understand how to register bugs out of, and into a cache before taking them. If you drop a bug, please list his goal if you know it.

Please do not park on the highway. From Highway 93 turn east at the Bitterroot River Lodge street sign (46 10.475 and 114 10.871). Follow the paved road to a dirt road north that is parallel to the highway. You can safely park where the road is blocked.

You can climb up the steep part of the hill or go to the south side of the hill and follow an easy deer trail most of the way to the cache.
