Geocache Description:

This two-stage multicache is hidden in Shortridge Memorial Park in Lower Merion. The park is named for N Parker Shortridge, banker and director of the Pennsylvania Railroad (1874-98). Mr. Shortridge owned a large tract of land in what is now Wynnewood. The park is all that remains of his country estate. An 1851 map of Lower Merion identifies the area of the present day park as Penn Grove.

After finding the first clue, a small ammo box awaits you .22 mile away. Please hide the ammo box as well or better than you found it. If not hidden well, chances of it being muggled are high.

This open, green space is primarily used by locals to run their dogs. The dog owners, however, are usually not around the areas you will be searching.

You can park anywhere along Shortridge Dr. (N 39 59.885 W 075 15.805)
