This is a good walk (about 1km each way) to a pretty view of St
Helens most prominent landform. The walk can be greatly reduced if
you are in a 4wd or are keen to give it a go in your car. Its
possible to drive right to GZ but if your car is not up to the task
park at 41*21.414 148*14.974 and walk up. This is what we did on
the day of hiding
THIS IS A CAMERA CACHE The camera inside is not
a swap it is there for you to take a picture with. What you
take a picture of is totally up to you. When the film is out i will
develop the film and place the pictures in a gallery for public
viewing so be aware of this when taking your pics (ie. none of your
bum
)
The first clue to the puzzle cache: "Homage to Ginsberg" is
written on the inside of the lid of this cache in the form of "The
XXXXX Skeleton". Its best if you note this down whilst at the
cache...cause you will kick youself if you have to go back up to
get it
The view from this cache is great...a slightly illegal climb can
make it better but Team Aloysius in no way condone this behaviour.
It would be remiss of us to mention the hole in the fence....so we
wont. The view from just east of GZ is pretty damn special anyway
So get the cache, Take the pic, dont forget the hint for the
puzzle...and enjoy
This cache has been adopted by Swampy for maintenance purposes. The
camera mentioned previously has been removed and returned to
Aloysuis in February 2007.
