Your Basic Geocache Traditional Cache

Just a family-friend basic geocache located off some mountain bike trails near the Colonie Town Park. Difficulty is rated a 2 only because there are lots of muggles around, so discretion is necessary.
The cache is located very close to mountain bike trails. You reach the area by walking the Mohawk/Hudson Bike Trail from the parking area. If you're observant you'll spot the mountain bike trails and can follow them to the cache, which is located not far off them. Please be sure to watch for muggles. The area off the paved bike trail can be muddy and slippery when wet. I would recommend yak-traks during the winter to avoid slipping. There is snow shoeing to the site as well.
The cache is a 50-cal ammo can, initially filled with goodies for all ages. It's well hidden and needs to be because it's so close to the trails, so be CERTAIN to rehide it well.
It's difficult to locate caches that the whole family can enjoy, and which are easy to get to and park at - I think I've succeeded here.
Parking is at N42 47.708 W073 44.678. Do not attempt to park in the Colonie Town Park unless you are a Town of Colonie resident -- parking and the park facilities are reserved for residents. You can also access the bike trail from a multitude of other locations which offer limited parking.
This is a "companion cache" to my Mohawk-Hudson Bike Trail Cache GCN86T, and they can be done together. (Update 1/1/06: the Mohawk-Hudson bike trail cache is not winter-accessible, although this one is.)
