Geocache Description:


There are several routes to this cache. We recommend you taking the footpath from Kettlewell. Approx 325m of climb in two and a half miles, and passes Witch? Ditch on the way up. The walk takes you up above Kettlewell to the summit of Great Whernside. Take the path to the left of Dowber Ghyll (do not go along the ghyll bottom - unless you want to leave all the steep climbing off path 'till the end!!!), towards the summit.

It is advisable to wear boots and to take waterproofs as the weather can be very different further up the hillside.
