Geocache Description:

Clear 35mm container. Shouldn't be too hard to find but you might have to have a 'special platform' to help get to it. You can drive right up to the area and there is plenty for kids to do also!

Thanks to J7Angus for helping out with this one. We visit the Sandhills frequently and thought another cache would be nice. This one was placed in the park, which is a nice stopping spot for the road weary. The park also offers RV and tent camping locations for those who want to spend some time around the area - information can be viewed on the link provided or you can also click on 'users web page' to also get information. Enjoy the area.

Stapleton Park

Update Feb 1, 2007. Reported in the Stapleton newspaper: Received a report of suspicious circumstances in Stapleton. Upon a tip from Village Officials, investigation led to finding a small capsule hidden in Stapleton. Further investigation showed that the capsule was part of a nationwide geocache "treasure hunt...." The website showed that people from all over the United States had been visiting Stapleton since April of 2005 just to find the object and sign the list. The object was replaced for the next person to find.
