Are you old enough (sorry) to remember Drive-Ins? Have you ever been to one? Do you have fond memories of them? My wife and I were talking to a couple
the other day and they were reminiscing of going to the local drive-in when they
were kids. He talked about how his dad parked in front of a screen for the kids.
His dad looked out his window at a movie playing on another screen out his
window and his mother did the same thing out her window for another movie. Did
you ever stuff people under your feet or in the trunk for the one price per
vehicle? Well most of the ole drive-ins are gone. I checked on a web site
dedicated to remembering the Drive-ins of yesterday and they listed Spokane as
having seven...but now we have zero. All that remains are a sign or a field of
rolling cement hills. The same is true for the Drive-In out in the Valley. The
sign is even gone...making way for more urban development. This cache is
dedicated to Spokanes old Drive-In Theaters of yesteryear...

Be on the look out for MUGGLES. They cut across the area, they bike
ride over the hills, and they walk their dogs all around. Muggles, muggles,
everywhere you look is a muggle.

Thanks to Greenthumb and Tweetie for letting me use this photo. Greenthumb is
standing in front of the old sign that used to be down on Sprague. They used the
picture to claim the locationless cache Are
There Any Drive-In Movies Left??
