Since one of my Stevie Ray Vaughn caches was muggled near here,
I’ve hid another one entitled, “The Sky is Crying.” This is a
plastic Folgers coffee can camo taped hidden in Water Worth Park in
Farmers Branch. It’s fairly easy to get to with no bushwhacking
except for maybe a little in the last couple of feet.
There are several approaches to this one, which is directly
behind Farmers Branch City Hall, but one approach would be to park
at the Cul-de-sac at the end of Leta Mae cir. at N32.55.179
W096.53.620.
Since all of our caches are named after songs, we leave you with
the lyrics to “The Sky is Crying” by the late great Stevie Ray
Vaughn.
The sky is cryin....can’t you see the tears roll down the
street
The sky is cryin....can’t you see the tears roll down the
street
I’ve been looking for my baby
And I wonder where can she be
I saw my baby early one morning....she was walking on down the
street
I saw my baby early this morning....she was walking on down the
street
You know it hurt me, hurt me so bad
Made my poor heart skip a beat
I’ve got a real real real real bad feelin
That my baby she don’t love me no more
I’ve got a real real bad feelin that my baby don’t love me no
more
You know the sky, the sky’s been cryin
Can you see the tears roll down my nose
