California High Point #38- Old WWII Lookout cabin leaning heavily to one side, fixin' to fall over. Still a nice rest after LONG hike. EIGHT MILES EACH WAY (16 total miles!) Mountain bike recomended. There is a half way camp with rickity picnic table. Two miles past the half way camp there is a water catchment system. Filter the water if you need to drink.
My GPSr indicated exact altitude printed on coffee can.
Interesting fact:
There used to be a series of log books going back to 1972. Very interesting logs a long time ago, they mysteriously dissapeared about 6 months ago.
