When I moved to Florida, our nephew John was very
instrumental in helping us find a house. We ended up buying a
place here on the beach very close to this cache. We all
called it John's Beach House. This cache is dedicated to his
memory. John passed away from cancer in November of 2002.
John and I both loved music....Elvis music in particular. We
must have watched the 1968 Come Back Special a dozen times. This
cache will be an Elvis trading cache. Other items are welcome as
long as there is room for the Elvis stuff.
The cache also contains a Zip Lock bag with copies of the "John
Index" game. Please take one out and tally up your own score.
Listed in the game are some of the things John really loved. Post
your score in your log to get credit for this cache. Let me know if
you take the last copy of the Index. There are also copies of
recipes of some of Elvis Presley's favorite dishes.
This cache is not in the water and doesn't require reaching over
the water.
