Cambria is a town east of Drumheller, between Rosedale and East Coulee. It was a vibrant coal mining community before natural gas became the fuel of choice.
To find the cache, you will have to add several numbers from two plaques in the community park. The first plaque is located at the above coordinates, and the second plaque is 130 metres, 45 deg TN from the first plaque (you will see the second plaque from the first if you look toward the bridge). The final cache is within 200 metres of both plaques.
The first plaque (temporarily removed, see attached photo) contains 4 numbers (including the plaque number). Adding these numbers gives you a four digit number (xxxx), the final is located at North 51 18.076 + x.xxx (For clarity, if the four digit number is 1000, the cache would be at 51 19.076.)
The second plaque was revised from the original (thanks, KinderKen), and contains 19 numbers. There are six numbers with 4 digits; add these six numbers. This results in a five digit number (yyyyy) and the final is located at West 112 24.296 + yy.yyy
The signs were removed in the fall of 2010 for replacement, and as a temporary measure, a photo of the first sign is available on this cache page, making this more of a mystery cache than a multi. Once the signs are replaced in 2012, this information will be removed from this cache page.
