Megalo Kavouri - Athens Traditional Cache
YanniG: On a maintenance check I found out that the surrounding area has become a very dirty area, not worth a cache there.
This is why I collected the plastic container and I will place it at some other area, worth a cache.All the items are safe in my hands.Soon I will place the trackable ones at new caches.
I thank all the friends in geocaching who honoured this cache of mine.

This cache is a plastic container and is located at Vouliagmeni on the hill of Agios Georgios, at the altitude of 52 meters
over the sea level.
You can drive to the area of the cache if you head to the Athletic Center of Vouliagmeni in the area of Athens.
It is close to the church of Agios Georgios on the hill.You can park your car at the location with coordinates
N 37 49.025 E 23 46.468. Then you walk South-East slightly climbing and you take the road that has a No-Parking sign
because there is frequent pass of fire-fighter trucks.You walk until you reach the water tank at your right.
Further you can see a very tall transmitter for the mobile phones.
The cache consists of the following items: a logbook a pen and a pencil in a seperate bag, a geocaching declaration in
Greek at one side and in English at the opposite, a small bag with my first own travel bug called "Maimoudaki_GR", one
blue plastic dolphin with whistle, one pack of two aromatic handkerchiefs, one red aromatic candle in a small bag,
one pack of three white candles, one small kit puzzle for kids, one leather keychain, one plastic small lobster,
one small plastic rhinoceros and finally one bag with 5 glass balls.
Enjoy the view from this hill.Look south and you will see the sea.Look east and you will see the rocky mountains,
look north-east and you will see the hill where is hidden Kavouri hill by Dimitris.
Most of all try to take deep breaths and smell the fresh air of the pines...
