A group of five friends went to their favorite pub for beer. They all drank something different, and they were all served by different waitresses. From the clues given, you must figure out which waitress served which person, what kind of beer he/she had, and in what order they were served.

  • Someone was served a Sam Adams by Mary.
  • Jonesy was not served his Budweiser by Missy.
  • Jack was served by Mabie.
  • The person who drank Sam Adams wasn't served second.
  • The Miller drinker was served last.
  • Missy served the fourth person, but that person didn't order a Genessee.
  • Neither Mary nor Megan served Jade who was the third person to be served.
  • Jim was not the first person served.
Drinkers: Jack, Jessie, Jade, Jonesy, Jim
Servers: Mabie, Mary, Megan, Missy, Maya
Drinks: Sam Adams, Budweiser, LaBatts, Genessee, Miller
Order served: first, second, third, fourth, fifth

A = Jim
B = Missy
C = Mabie
D = Megan
E = Budweiser
F = Jessie
G = Mary
H = Jade
I = Maya
J = Genessee
K = Sam Adams
L = LaBatts
M = Jack
N = Jonesy

Substitute your answers into the table below to determine the correct coordinates:

  Drinker Server Beer
1. 0 8 4
2. 1 7 0
3. 1 9 4
4. 0 5 6
5. 2 1 2

If Jim (A) was served by Maya (I) and drank Sam Adams (K), #1 would be A, I, K. Therefore, A=0, I=8, and K=4.

Good luck!
