Park at Cape Ferrelo view point.
Take the path, which can be pretty slippery when wet. You will take the first well used "goat trail" to the left just before entering "The Mystic Forest". Watch for leg size holes in the trail, which is pretty common in this area.
This was a place we both wanted to place a cache at when we saw it from above. When you get there, you will not believe all the different succulents growing on the rock. Absolutely beautiful! There are flat grassy spots to have picnics, a private beach sheltered from the wind and incredible views. When we placed the cache there was abundant miners lettuce, mission bells, horse tail, and purple violets. Plan to spend some time here.
Do not go up ridge to top of rock to look for cache. We wanted to place it on the top, but it could have been dangerous for some people. If you have a desire to go there on your own, fine, but the cache is not up there.
