NIGHT CACHE ONLY! The coordinates are to the beginning of the Elm Creek Nature Trail in Abilene State Park. You will need a flashlight PER PERSON for this cache! Follow the reflective trail tacks down to the cache. The end container is an Ammo Box with reflectors around it.
Well......the Mulchers have been working at the State Park, and they mulched the original cache, and it's location. We were asked by the Park Ranger to please place a new Night Cache, so we did. This Night Cache starts at the beginning of the Elm Creek Trail, as the original did, but the walk now is probably a quarter mile in, so be prepared for a bit of a walk. Follow the WHITE reflectors, and you will find the hidden cache! Follow the ORANGE reflectors back to the beginning of the trail. Carry plenty of light. Listen for the night foragers. Don't bother them, they won't bother you. Enjoy the hike! Permit on file at Abilene State Park
