LavaLizard: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

An easy to moderate hike in Malibu Creek State Park. Approximately 3 miles round trip, through the pre-governor Ronald Reagan Ranch land. Equal amounts of sun and shade.
From the trail head parking on Mulholland drive take the Look Out trail to the Yearling trail to the Deer leg trail
Parking:N 34 06.311 W 118 43.902 From inside the park access the Look-Out trail near Century Lake.

Miss Tickle, the local medicine woman, was asked by the sheriff to help track suspected cattle rustler and bank robber P. Whew Heffer. Although often regarded as touched or eccentric, she did have a reputation as an excellent tracker. Her tracking methods, however, proved to be a bit too odd for the sheriff so he left her and went his own way and Miss Tickle went hers.

Follow Miss Tickle’s peculiar advice. (Your cords will sketchy because of the canopy) then write down the scrambled sentence directions at #1,2&3. Unscramble the sentences and along with #4, good luck “Finding Heffer” GCNAKE
Do the caches in sequence 1,2,3,4.

“Talk to the one who lives on the trail, behind a tree a long black tail. He watches close who comes and goes, and will gladly tell you all he knows.”

I have taken care to make sure the immediate perimeter around these caches are P.O. free, however it still exist along side the trail.
A local plant called mug wort is said to neutralize the oils from poison oak after exposure by rubbing it on your skin. You will find this plant at the first stream crossing after this cache.

No off trail travel necessary.
