This is a three-stage urban cache with a puzzle at the end. It’s T
accessible if you ride the redline to JKF/UMASS stop. Walk down
Morrissey Blvd pass The Boston Globe to a grassy park on the right
that you can cross to the first stage. Total walking from first to
third stage is less than half a mile. If you are driving, there is
a small 3 car parking area at N 42 18.798 W 071 02.960 that is
close to the first stage. You have to navigate some one-way streets
and a dead-end to get there.

Just past The Boston Globe on the west side of Morrissey Boulevard,
there is a grassy little park that is very overlooked. The estuary
(or tidal basin) attracts many different birds. The grassy area
around the water is home to many small animals too. Find a stone or
a bench to sit on and watch the wild life.
The first of the trio of stops is at N 42 18.823 w 071 02.992. At
this point if you look past the fence you will see a number of
green trucks. On the back door of most of those trucks the same
words appear in gold paint. One of the words is a day of the week
that starts with an S. The number of letters in that word + 2 = A.
The second coordinates are N 42 18.7A4 W 071 02.A13 Your second
stop is a piece of cement with a year carved into it. The third
digit = Z.
The third coordinates are N 42 18.ZZ3- W 071 02.80Z The last stop
is an X carved into something. This is one of many these things in
the area, but the only one with an X.
So here is the puzzle:
X marks the start
3 over, 3 down, 3 over, 3 up, 1 over
Or you could try
1 over, 4 down, 2 over, 3 up, 1 over
Either way you will find the same. Just be careful since it is not
a perfect grid. The cache is in a plastic bag and set just right to
avoid being seen accidentally from above. Please lodge it back up
where you found it.
BIG WARNING: The final area is SLIPPERY WHEN WET. It will hurt
if you fall down, I know.
