The cache is somewhat near an active railroad. The tracks are up
a large cliff, and you DO NOT need to cross the tracks at any
point. As a matter of fact if you DO cross the tracks you would be
on what is technically golf course property, which would be
considered tresspassing, since you wouldn't have paid to be there.
The cache is NOT anywhere on the cliff. You'll be looking for a
surplus Decon container (Appx 3" X 2.25" X 4.5"). I've hidden this
one pretty well, but it's just off the path/grassy area, so very
little bushwacking would be necessary. Please make sure to hide
this one well, as it appears that people frequent this area. I'm
sure people are going to visit the nearby tunnel, which is rumored
to be haunted. (You can read more here.)
The whole park, although small, is interesting. Formerly a
limestone quarry, it now is a large fishing pond, featuring a nice
boardwalk. There is also picnic shelters with grills, a playground,
and baseball fields.
While you're here check out the nearby
Waymarks that you can visit!
