Geocache Description:

Public place near a quiet neighborhood.

Who would have thought that this area used to be a rock quarry? Evidence of its former function is all around the small pond. Wildlife is plentiful, however, fishing, swimming, and picnicking are not allowed. In the warmer months, bugs and snakes are out...so keep a watchful eye.

The walk is not far from nearby parking, however, the area is very busy during business hours Monday – Friday...parking may be more difficult during those times.
