Laybug's Yukon Travel Bug Inn Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Cache-tech: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have been looking at caches in the area that have been temporarily disabled for a while now and it looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache.
When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link (Mine) across the top and then click on this cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
Cache-tech

Geocache Description:

To date geocaching is not too popular in the Yukon. Trying to raise the awareness as well as stimulate more involvement, I decided to create some "visitor friendly and easy" caches. This is my second and watch out for many more to come! I certainly hope you enjoy this as much cache as much as I have enjoyed planting it!

The Yukon Travel Bug Inn is the first of its kind in the Yukon. The Cache is hidden in a well visited area adjacent to an established trail. The Inn is a large white bucket well hidden. Travel Bugs enjoy the ambiance and swapping their travel tales here. When it is time to check out, it is also time to check in --meaning if you take a Travel Bug, then please replace it with another (VERY IMPORTANT).

At the time of hiding and currently residing at the Inn are the following Travel Bugs: the Ginger Travel Bug all the way from California, the Benjamin Franklin Travel Bug all the way from New Jersey, and the Family Crest Travel Bug all the way from California. Please ensure these travel bugs continue on their journey. Also included is a log book and two pens as well as a Ladybug First Finders Certificate.

At the time of hidding, for those who not wish to partake in the travel bug exchange, are the following trade goodies: glass ladybug, wooden ladybug, ladybug card, ladybug book mark, 2 Bag It Up Yukon Booklets, a Vuntut Gweitchin Book, Whitehorse Travel Guide, Yellow Whistle and a McDonld's Toy. Please ensure that you follow the rules set out in this cache and have a wonderful adventure while at the same time learn lots about the unique history and culture of Whitehorse!
