Geocache Description:

Dans le quartier ouest de La Chaux-de-Fonds (Alt. 1018m), se trouve un petit étang bordant une petite forêt, l’étang est gelé et on peut y patiner durant l’hiver et au printemps nous allons y suivre l’évolution des têtards jusqu’à devenir des grenouilles.

Lorsque j’étais écolier, nous allions déjà y étudier la nature en parcourant le tour de l’étang et de la forêt (20min), depuis là des bancs y ont été installés et on y trouve bien des déchets laissés par les visiteurs.

Ce site figure à l’inventaire fédéral des sites de reproduction de batraciens d’importance nationale. Petite info à lire (visit link)

Le samedi 16 avril 2005 a eu lieu un Cash in Trash Out Event. Mais cet étang doit être tenu propre régulièrement, c'est pourquoi on y trouve maintenant une boite contenant des sacs à poubelle ainsi que le contenu d'une cache traditionnelle.
