GAG6: Mudcats! Now Playing At Rogers Video Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Cache-tech: Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have had no contact with the cache owner since my last note and there has been no notes posted to the cache page in that time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache.
When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page” and clicking the link (Mine) across the top and then click on this cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks for your understanding,
Cache-tech

Geocache Description:

OK, OK, now playing "NEAR" a Rogers Video!

CACHE IS FOR THE GAG6 EVENT, 8 & 9 APRIL 2005 PLEASE DO NOT SEARCH BEFORE 5:59 PM ON THE 8TH.

When you arrive at these coords, you'll probably know exactly where to look - we've given you a few closely arranged possibilities. No doubt you'll be whispering non-sweet-but-sticky nothings into the air - but take heart! - at least IT'S NOT A MICRO!!!! (It almost was and may be at a later date, depends on the gardener, wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

This should be a fairly easy find (for all you folks in a hurry) and, despite its landlocked look, it is near a 'shipping lane' so watch out for passing 'salers' (...groan...)

Cache container is a disguised peanut butter jar. It is designed to slip out of its hanger, so please do not dismantle or relocate the wire.

When placed, the contents were:
- Logbook, pencil & sharpener
- Tim Horton's gift certificate
- 2 passes for the Homes & Cottages Show (you can go on Sunday!)
- St John Ambulance clock/keychain
- Ford Explorer (no keys)
- Yo-yo
- Cat stickers (no mud)
- SJA Space Shuttle pins
- Pack of crayons
- Various other trinkets (that we all love to find & trade, apparently)

See ya on the trails, paths, roads, and in the parks, swamps, conservation areas, libraries, haunted lanes, burnt lands - EVERYWHERE!!! WE'RE EVERYWHERE!!! WE'VE TAKEN OVER THE WORLD!!!
(Sorry . . . too much Stewie influence. I gotta stop watching Family Guy)
