Keeper of Maps: I showed up today to check up on the cache prior to enabling it after the winter to find shiny new large sign with the two words that geocachers dread: "No trespassing". It appears that Transport Canada has designated this area as off-limits for no readily apparent reason. While I do plan on contacting Transport Canada to find out what's changed, for the time being it appears this area is no longer available to geocaching.

I did bump into Team Babushka as I was getting ready to leave with the cache so I allowed them to have the dubious honour of being the last people to sign the log before heading off to check up on my Take the High Road, Too cache with them in tow.

Thanks to everyone who sought it out over the years!

Should it turn out that we can continue caching here then I'll ask a reviewer to wave their magic wand an unarchive this listing. In the meantime, the redirect tag and the container have been removed.

Please note Use of services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

The cache has been disabled for the winter. Please do not attempt to find the cache until it's enabled in the spring as plastic containers become brittle in the cold. Thanks! This cache was hidden for the GAG 6 event.

Oh, you'll take the high road, and I'll take the low road, And I'll be in Scotland afore ye
- Lady John Scott (1876)

Well, taking this road certainly won't get you to Scotland, but it will lead you to the cache.

On a small brass tag at the coordinates above are two groups of three numbers each. These numbers represent the decimal portion of the minutes for the latitude and longitude, respectively. The degrees and whole minutes are the same as the coordinates above.

Here's a handy table for you to use:

N45 18 ._______
W075 38 ._______

The cache container is a small clear container with a geocaching sticker on the lid. Inside are various items, mostly keychains and the like, along with a small log book, several golf pencils and a sharpener. Please don't take the sharpener or the pencils. (Alright, if you really need a pencil, take one as long as there's more than one left.)
