Geocache Description:


If you arrive on the right day and the wind is blowing just right you will smell what makes this area so famous. That pork smoking on the hickory has allured many of folks to sit and taste.

The cache is hidden not to far from that famous place in Lawler Cemetery. Lawler Cemetery is listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage. This cemetery was established in 1845, but some of the markers I could read are much older than that.

Cache is a plastic container with all of the goods inside of a plastic bag. Be sure to place any items back in the bag when you are done trading. This will just ensure that nothing gets damaged.

Nothing special about this one... Just a really neat place for a cache to be. There is a little road that goes around the cemetery. obviously don't park near the entrance because muggles might see you...

Warning, it has been said that some get up in the night and go up to the Top to get their share of the pork.
